Quick Gift Ideas! I love to share my patterns with my dear friend Susan but imagine my surprise when she sent me MANY pictures of her delightful projects...many using my patterns but definitely done up in full Flavor of Susan. She is an avid reader and belongs to a book club. I am wild about how she took the snowman from Angelic Woolies and stitched him onto wool book markers..one for each of her fellow members. The Girl With the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
Takes place in the 17th century. A 16 year old servant and her place in the household of a famous painter and his family. This was also made into a movie starring Colin Firth and Scarlett Johansson. I have the movie on order at the library...hearing that it is very good. Glad i listened to the book first tho. Below is a picture of Susan Koenig's primitive interpretation of our Amarina doll pattern.

We have added numerous kits to our on-line shopping cart. Mostly for the newer designs. Kind Little Shepherdess has two new kits...one for the Table Mat and one for the little Sheep Pincushion...simple and quick gift. Due to many requests, I Ben Good Stocking pattern now has a 100% wool kit rather than WoolFelt. Better Not Pout has both a Stocking and a Bellringer kit. Star Santa Punch has a little wool frame kit with rusty bells. These particular kits will all be available for a limited time only.

!! GIFT IDEA !!
Last year I made each of my daughters a very hefty and rugged tote bag out of a wonderful elephant tapestry fabric. They were each lined with an inside pocket. An outside pocket was added out of contrasting fabric. I added a little grocery list pad in the pocket and filled the bags with some of their favorite grocery items. I forget the poem now but I wrote one that comically mentioned recycling and saving the earth...not too preachy...just fun. They loved them and I'm happy to say they use them all of the time. Sometimes as a grocery bag and sometimes for their books and whatevers.


Someone came up with a great idea for our Holiday Quilt Guild Party...instead of exchanging ornaments or gifts, we are bringing contributions to the local humane society. Bag of cat food, dog food, etc.
My gift to you is keeping this Ramble short. I know how busy you must be. We'll be back in January with show dates and new goodies. Thanks for being a part of our family and
